I'm interested to know if people who haven't in the past or don't currently live in England find this as endlessly hilarious as every single person I know does?
It kind of sounds posh meets valley girl. I have a friend from Holland and he says "yah, yah, yah" at the end of every sentence. p.s. Do you know anyone who actually talks like that? Pera did make me laugh. xxoo
Do they know they sound ridiculous? At some point do they grow out of it? I knew when I was young and talking like a valley girl that it was ridiculous and I did grow out of it.

ReplyDeleteNo, alice_eve I find it hilarious!
ReplyDeleteBelette, it embarrasses me to admit that all my rich cousins talk exactly like this... and they shop on King's Road.

ReplyDeleteI'm amused but not hysterical. I might have used up this week's quota of laughter on the Lady Gaga parody.
